La Verne men's soccer
Ben Grime and Will Moseley scored less than five minutes apart late in the second half to lift visiting Occidental (4-7, 3-5) to a 2-0 SCIAC victory over La verne (3-9, 3-5).
Redlands women's soccer
Leslie Horner assisted on both of Maddy Phillips' goals in the first 14 minutes as the Bulldogs (7-4, 6-1) routed Whittier (2-8-2, 0-6-1) 4-0 in a SCIAC contest at Whittier. Phillips now has six goals on the season. Breann Puchalski and Kaily Benenati also scored for Redlands. Goalies Tenley Rawlings, Linzey Smith and Rachel Foreman did not make any saves in the shutout, as Redlands out-shot Whittier 23-6.
Redlands men's soccer
The teams traded goals in the final five minutes of regulation and failed to score in 20 minutes of overtime as Redlands (5-6-2, 4-3-1) tied Whittier (5-4-2, 4-2-2) in a SCIAC contest.
Nick Gunderson scored for Redlands off a rebound from a Jeff Willey shot in the 86th minute for the game's first goal before Whitter tied it on a goal by Edward Baker in the final mnute. Evan Hobson made four saves for Redlands.
Cal State San Bernardino women's cross country
Freshman Samantha Borman finished 17th out of 122 runners at the UC San Diego Triton Classic, leading the Coyotes to a sixth-place finish out of 13 teams.
Cal Poly Pomona cross country
Led by junior Matt Prentice's second place finish, the Broncos' mens team won the UC San Diego Triton Classic. It was the first time Cal Poly won a men's meet since 2006. Senior Jersain Torres and junior Stephen Kent finished fourth and fifth, respectively, for the Broncos.
On the women's side, senior Tiffany Turner finished seventh to give the Broncos a fifth-place finish at the Triton Classic.
Chaffey men's water polo
Todd Johnson and Bijan Souri scored four goals apiece as Chaffey routed Santa Monica 18-4 in the Citrus Tournament.
In the second tournament game of the day, Chris Shelton scored four goals to lead the Panthers to a 10-9 win over Santa Ana.
Cal State San Bernardino volleyball
Samantha Middleborn had 10 kills and six blocks and Megan Johnson had no attack errors to go along with seven kills to lead the No. 2-ranked Coyotes (18-0, 11-0) to a 25-15, 25-15, 25-18 CCAA victory over host San Francisco State (14-5, 7-4). It was coach Kim Cherniss' 400th career win.
Jane Chafeh had nine kills and 10 digs and Sara Hoffman added 30 assists for Cal State.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer
Julia Nishioka scored in the 82nd minute to lift the Athenas (7-2-2, 5-0-2) to a 1-1 double-overtime tie with visiting Cal Lutheran (8-2-2, 4-2-1) in a SCIAC contest.
Emily Hudson had 12 kills and seven digs and Jenna Suttmeier added seven kills to lift the Athenas (10-10, 5-4) to a 25-11, 25-18, 25-12 SCIAC sweep of Whittier (6-8, 3-6). Allie Macy added six kills and 14 digs for CMS.
